Hello, I’m Josh Jones
Photography has always been my way of remembering, a pause in the moment, to catch what’s easily missed or forgotten. I’m a Creative Director by trade, working in the real estate world, but it’s behind the lens where I feel happiest. Whether it’s a camera slung over my shoulder or just the phone in my pocket, I’m constantly looking for the kind of moments that can’t be staged: the quiet, the chaotic, the beautiful in-between.
My work is rooted in storytelling, not the loud kind, but the kind that builds slowly through light, texture, movement. I shoot food, travel, and destination, always with the same goal: to create a feeling. That sharp pull of envy when you see a dish you want to taste. That ache of longing when a place looks too good to be real. I want my images to make you wish you were there, in that exact moment.
I’m blessed to have worked with some amazing brands like Legare London, Luna Wine Bar, Olivar Suites, and Maison in Provence (MiP), all places that value experience, not just image. My approach is minimal, not intrusive, documentary-led. No heavy staging. No perfection. Just the atmosphere as it was, made permanent.
Because the best photographs, to me, don’t just show you something.
They let you feel it.
